Based YouTubers

I agree with you, but I do believe that a well made video has intrinsic value for both the viewer and creator. A great video can inspire people and get them hooked on a creator’s content. There are plenty of examples of creators who have improved at their craft and continue to grow their channels in spite of the constraints of the algorithm. It’s rare and takes a hell of a lot of effort that doesn’t necessarily lead to more money. Maybe Rick is happy with the direction his channel has been headed. Every creator evolves over time. From a pure business perspective it makes sense to pump out as many videos as possible to take advantage of the algorithm. I personally get less out of Rick’s channel in its current state. At the same time, I understand that his channel is, at the end of the day, a way for him to make money and the things I assign value don’t necessarily correspond with the watching habits of millions of people.
