Being bored in your own house is somehow better than being bored at someone else's house.

As an autistic person, I just tell whoever I'm with that I'm bored and we should do something. Then I start brainstorming things to do, trying to take into account what we both like. I tell anyone over my place to tell my right away if anything is off for them. If they're bored, if it's too bright, if things are too loud, whatever. I always want to be the first to know.

That's something I'll never understand about you neurotypical people. You all love to hint towards things you want, then get upset when those hints aren't picked up on. Life is a lot simpler when you directly ask for what you want, and when you can handle others being direct with you. Life's too short to try to guess what others want, just ask.
