Why do you believe in a god?

I never said that was the only reason I believe. You say that I fear the alternative, but I don’t because I have no reason to. I’m saying those that do not believe potentially have everything to lose. You can feel the way you want but what I believe is for me to know and understand. I have had hard times in my life that were made better by my faith. I don’t think everyone can say that so I understand why some might not believe but I’m confident in my belief. I’m speaking more to the fact that if I am wrong then it costs me nothing to believe, and in fact faith has given me peace and strength through hard times along with a good support system. Those that don’t believe may potentially have a lot to lose ( maybe not, as I don’t claim to know what will happen when we die). I wasn’t trying to start any drama with my answer but I should have known it would since it was a question about religion. I wish only the best for you stranger and I hope you have a wonderful life!
