You mentioned American opinions about this video, I said they were being whiney, I never specified or called out Americans myself. Any person who thinks the parents are dumb are being whiney and not thinking logically. I don’t care about the attacks on me, I’m just pointing it out.

I said ‘Dangerous spot?’ In my first comment and then specified relative danger in the next comment but all danger is relative because any situation has inherent danger.

I then used a random common daily situation to show the baby is in relatively low danger since cars are considered low danger so therefore in my opinion any criticism of the parents is unfounded and hypocritical.

Could they have made the situation even more safe for the baby? Sure… did they need to? No because the risk was low already and parents put their children in more dangerous situations for trivial selfish reasons everyday without realising it (like driving a baby across town so you can catch up with a friend)…. That is my point.
