Biden Administration Expands Sanctions Against Russia, Cutting Off U.S. Transactions With Central Bank

I don't know that I've met a single person who goes "I freaking HATE Russians!"

I've known many. I was told I was adopted at ~8 years old and the only thing I was told about myself is that my mother was Russian. I've had parents form commissions at schools I've attended to have me removed from the classroom during grades 5 and 6 to save thier kids from "that goddamned commie". That's what it was like growing up in Canada during the cold war. Even after that, I've had many people tell me how much they hate Russians while growing up. To my face, because my adoptive parents renamed me. Heck, I had my birth name in Cyrillic as my YouTube profile name and some wonderful American chap wrote me a long rant about how he could tell from my name that I was a Putin loving commie and he was going to valiantly stand against me and my evil people. For the record, turns out my mother was born here. My grandfather was Russian, and my grandmother was Polish/Ukrainian. I still identify strongly with my Russian heritage though. It's all I knew about myself until the pandemic gave me time to dig. For my part, I'm just deeply saddened to see Slavs killing Slavs yet again. My heart just breaks, it's so wrong.
