Bizarre bylaw officer harassment?

Sorry. I didn’t mean that to come off rude.

In reality most people aren’t going to care as long as you are being responsible and respectful.

Here’s an example. You go to a park with a large green space. You see families and kids playing, having their picnic. Do you set your picnic up right next to them or do you decide that I’ll space myself out more and make sure my dog is secured with a short leash unable to stray more than a metre or 2 away.

The problem is those people who just let their dogs roam when they are in those spaces. Or let their young children who can’t control the pet take them into parks.

It’s an unfortunate catch all by law because people aren’t capable of doing things in a respectful and responsible manner.
