Already addressed this. An addict is weak, not strong. If you can't stand in a room with your vice then you're not over it or don't want to address the problem. Pretending it doesn't exist isn't addressing the problem. You're still giving in to the temptation and the moment you're exposed to it you will break again.

I am surrounded by alcohol yet I do not drink anymore. I have alcohol across the room and yet I know it's bad so I resist temptation.

Stoicism isn't pretending that things don't exist. It's about coming to terms with the fact that some things are not in your control, like attraction, and a woman's actions, and learning to control your emotional urges to overcome vice by choosing a path of virtue.
