The bonito flakes writhing on our appetizer

Let me call you gwei lous out for good reason. I dont care if im downvoted.

Those are bonito flakes on takoyaki.

Bonito flakes: Dried, fermented, and smoked skipjack tuna. Shaved into really, REALLY thin slices.

Takoyaki: a ball-shaped Japanese snack made of a wheat flour-based batter and cooked in a special molded pan. It is typically filled with minced or diced octopus, tempura scraps, pickled ginger, and green onion.

Why do the flakes move?: The takoyaki is mostly likely freshly cooked which means the rising steam and moisture is making the flakes bend and move. ITS NOT ALIVE for goodness sake.

It really annoys me that y'all white folks never fail to put down asian delicacies because it's out of your norm. Y'all seriously need to get cultured. Also, screw you OP for using a derogative term on asian cuisine to farm karma. Shame on you.
