Books for Beginners!!!

Start with short stories or children's novel or young adult books to get started

Some that i would recommend for a beginner or someone how wants to get back to reading would be _

HARRY POTTER SERIES, ANY ROALD DAHL CHILDREN'S NOVEL, The Alchemist, A MAN CALLED OVE, THE KITE RUNNER, SHERLOCK HOLMES SERIES, BOOKS BY SUDHA MURTY

Any currently booktok popular books_

7 HUSBAND'S OF EVELYN HUGO, NORMAL PEOPLE, RED WHITE AND ROYAL BLUE, BEFORE THE COFFEE GETS COLD, COLLEN HOOVER BOOKS (i have rather controversial opinion about her writings but whatever works for you), etc

Self help/ philosophy_

THE STRANGER by Albert Camus is a short read but explores the idea of existential philosophy if you are into that, MAN'S SEARCH FOR MEANING (existentialism), i don't read self help much but THE MOUNTAIN IS YOU (I'm currently reading this) then popular books like SUBTLE ART OF NOT GIVING A F*CK, IKIGAI, PSYCHOLOGY OF MONEY and all

Good places to buy cheap books_ FLORA FOUNTAIN first shop for self help and popular books, opposite road sides stalls for Manga, informative/education related, children's and also popular books, also exactly on the opposite road of Bombay High court moving towards KALA GHODA and in COLABA CAUSEWAY street stalls, Can try near VILE PARLE WEST STATION AREA and MAHAVIR NAGAR, KANDIVALI i don't really shop from these places but friends told that you can get books from here Also if you are from VASAI-VIRAR during local melas/ fair you can by books by kgs (second hand books) same with new books opposite SNDT college, churchgate there is a school which lends it's auditorium for books sale there you can buy new as well as old books by kg

Hope this helps, happy reading!!!
