Ok, I agree but what do you mean? Lots of things are bigger than sports and precious points, and yet we keep playing sports. We can all agree this is a huge problem and must be dealt with but there's no need for grandstanding. Are we supposed to stop watching sports until there are no more assholes left on earth?
End the match at the moment, award the points, and send everyone home. The players and staff still get paid, no loss in that regard.

I know this is reddit and everything is hyperbolic and extreme, but I just want to confirm: You are legitimately suggesting that whenever some people in the stands are being racist, the game must be forfeited? And you don't see at all how that would essentially destroy the league, because we won't be allowed to have matches anymore until no trolls are left (which will never happen). And the players and staff will definitely see a loss in their paycheck when nobody is willing to buy a game ticket anymore due to the risk of a single incident of racism means the game is abandoned. Or is there a number of racists that's allowed before the game gets cancelled? How do you envision this rule being enforced without resulting in any loss? I guess maybe I'm misunderstanding the suggestion. Maybe we can get a hypothetical rule, spell out for me exactly what you think the solution should be, and we can go from there. Most of what I'm seeing in this thread seems good intentioned but really silly if looked at pragmatically.
If I were on Inter I would happily take that 'punishment' to stop playing for a bunch of racist ingrates 'fans'. And the racist preparators will directly get punished for their actions plus face other innocent fans who have to suffer because of them.
No offense but I highly doubt that. What kind of business are you in (assuming you are in the workforce)? You honest-to-god believe that none of your customers are racist cunts? What utopia do you work in? So if that's how you feel, how come you haven't quit your job or refused to come because you don't want to provide [whatever business you're in] to racist ingrates? If a racist person came into your business and was being a cunt, your response would be to close up shop for the entire week just to spite them? Even if it means the rest of your customers are cut off as well? If that was your official policy, you don't think some racist cunt would show up every week to troll you and force your business to close? I think the majority of people agree racism is disgusting and needs to be dealt with, but knee-jerk reactions based on emotion are not going to fix anything.

I guess this is where we fundamentally disagree. If you ask me, there literally doesn't exist a "collective" punishment on earth, whether it's closed stadiums, deduct points, or disband the entire team that will solve this. There will always WITHOUT EXCEPTION be trolls. And tearing down the entire league to spite them does not hurt them one bit, on the contrary it gives the soooo much more power. The ONLY solution is to locate the trolls and deal with them DIRECTLY. That's the key word. The punishment has to be against those responsible, not against everyone there and just "hope" that the people responsible's conscience will tell them not to do it again. And make no mistake even if you get rid of all of them, more will show up. It isn't a one-time solution, it requires a change to the rules and the way they're enforced moving forward. But to tear down the entire league just to spite them is stupid. And yes, forfeiting every match with cunts in the stands would destroy the league. You will never get rid of all of them, and giving them the power to dictate the result of the game is idiotic and will only lead to bigger problems. If the official policy was to forfeit every match with racist chants, I would literally bet everything that I own that it would not take more than 2 seasons before the rule was being used for match fixing.
