Because this isn’t about politics. This is about democracy and the maintenance of America’s institutions that protect our democracy. These are things that trump attacks daily. Politics are about messaging and narrative. Reality is about facts and a third of my countrymen aren’t even in agreement about basic scientific principles.

Trump is a fascist who is installing an authoritarian regime. In my view you’re saying “I hope Hitler maintains a long and healthy life.”

This isn’t a game. This isn’t a joke. American democracy is already dying and it’s not because I’m not breaking out my seance beads pulling for the fuckers recovery. He is anti science. He is anti empathy and he is the embodiment of what it means to be anti American.
