BREXIT, ask everything you want to know about the Vote on the Withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union (that's what it is actually called) in here.

racist

If anyone is racist in this debate, it is the EU, which discriminates between EU and non-EU passports at the border. EU citizens are fast-tracked through, they have a separate line at Heathrow Airport. Leave campaigners have called for a points system, like we have in Australia. Basically what that means is migrants are discriminated based on their professional qualifications, as opposed to their nationality. Which system do you think is more racist?

help fix something

The UK has been trying to "fix" the EU for decades. Euroscepticism has always been high, and the promise of "staying in to reform it" is not a new one. The fact is, the EC have made it quite clear that they are looking at further integration between members, and a Remain vote from the UK is all the mandate they need to implement that. The reason this referendum is happening is because the EU doesn't reflect many of Britain's interests and priorities, and to quote Jean-Claude Juncker, "has given all that it can give."
