assuming equal stats/dmg/speed etc swords are better damage due to sword skill so better dps. but it's not huge difference and the mace stun is still good for taking less damage when it procs so less downtime.

Can Combat swords/maces still go Hemo?

not sure what you mean here. all you want for hemo is a high damage (not dps) weapon as hemo's damage is based off your weapon damage. generally this means slower weapons but it's not always the case. if you compare like a lvl 50 dagger or something to a lvl 30 sword the damage will probably be higher on the dagger even if it's faster. so just look at weapon damage.

the maces you have seem fine for your level. as for future upgrades i would strongly recommend buying a run through maraudon as soon as you hit 45 by a max level soloing it for gold. you can find these people by doing /who maraudon and whispering them individually. the reason for this is that 45 is the minimum level for a quest that rewards thrash blade. this is basically the best weapon you will get until level 60 unless you buy a krol blade at 52. even then that's still 7 levels of use. thrash blade is good damage and has a built in proc for an extra attack that can also proc sword specialization and vice versa. slap fiery on it and you're set. as a side benefit you can also get blackstone ring from the last boss if you're lucky or willing to pay for multiple runs or a flat fee when it drops. the stats on this ring are insance for the level and you can use it even at 60 although tarnished elven ring is slightly better as a prebis option.
