Back when POF was fairly new, I was in my early 20’s and connected with a very attractive guy a few years older than myself (he was very lean and muscular, tan with blue eyes iirc)

We are talking on the phone and all seems to be going well. He is going on and on about being a mama’s boy and how he thinks his mom is the perfect woman. Now, some people might think that’s a bad thing, but to me, that’s a plus.

While we are on the phone we are looking at each other’s photos and he comes across a close up photo of me smiling, in a club wearing a dress holding a martini. That’s it. I look completely sober. He flips a switch and goes on a rant about women who drink are whores (even though he drinks) and calls alcohol “whore juice”. While he is going on this heated rant, I hang up on him. He calls me back right away confused. I go off on him. I tell him that I will not be talked to like that, that I have never been spoken to like that and I sure as hell won’t tolerate it. I ask him how would his mother feel if she knew the way he spoke to women. He apologized profusely. I thanked him, and explained that the damage has been done, and I wish him well. He, sounding very embarrassed, understood and we hung up.
