Eh, it's the spirit of the comparison. I have to imagine there have been other presidents that have had businesses while in office, and received income/ revenue during that time. My point is that this type of argument can be made for anybody who owns a business, where some negative or bad person or conflict of interest happened to be a customer indirectly.

I'm not going to go digging for presidential examples because I'm going to bed. It's just an analogy to help explain my point of view why I think the author is digging for clicks with specific phrasing in the article title, the words are chosen a specific way to get a rise out of people, but this type of raisin can be used in so many different other contexts
