The act of gay sex is a sin. Just like premarital sex or extramarital sex. Or alcoholism or lying or theft. It’s all the same in God’s eyes. Being a saved person, aka, going to heaven, does not make you perfect or free from sin. We are merely free from the wages of sin which is hell. To be free from sin you have to repent of your sin and accept Christ as your savior and his sacrifice on the cross. It doesn’t mean you won’t sin again. All “Christians” sin, daily.
