Disney series bashed for saying descendants of slaves have 'earned' reparations, US hasn't 'atoned' for racism

Normally when I read comments like this I think, “no, your kid will be out of the loop with other kids and have trouble relating to them”. But, unlike the parents that say they won’t let their kids play modern video games, now that cable is dead to most millennials and Gen Z, there is no standard programming anymore. If anything kids will grow up with a far more variety in their culture than we did. I imagine where lots of kids will watch Bluey, others may have parents that aren’t subscribed to whatever service their parents had.

My daughter is less than 2 months away, and my wife and I watch tv shows maybe once a week, aside from our nightly Frasier episode to wind down. I do worry for kids whose parents just binge watch TV all the time. Kids really shouldn’t be watching tv at all the first 2 years of their lives, yet so many parents I know plop their 1 yr old in front of some ADHD driven spectacle on TV so mommy can ignore her kid for an hour.
