Why is buying a second hand car so infuriating and annoying?

Car was up for 3700 but I'd be willing to take less. We Buy Any Car offered 2700 and so I knew I was asking for a fair price anyway.

Guy offered me £2500 and shows me a very similar car with a little more miles and in an awful colour for 3300. I matched it but he said that the car wouldn't sell for that so he wanted me to take 2800. Then he tells me that he's not a time waster and he needs a car for his family as he's got a new born. I told him WBAC practically offered the same so no and he tells me how I'm an idiot because only desperate people go to WBAC...

Had another guy ask how much the car was up for. I told him. He tells me I must be smoking crack. Nice.

Plenty of people turning up, and taking the piss. Also a lot of people not showing up. Part exchanged the car for £3000. Was a really easy experience and I just wasted time trying to sell it. I don't think I'll ever sell a car privately.
