Fuel tank not reaching maximum capacity

Thanks for the detailed reply.

Although that may be common practice, I've owned multiple petrol cars since I started driving, and most have been more or less able to be filled up to its specified limit of e.g. 46L. I understand there's a reserve for emergencies or if you drive to 0 miles, but this has never been an issue with other cars.

The mpg states that I have 46mpg. This does fluctuate slightly, but I usually drive around small villages and then long motorway runs.

The car is from 2006, so I'm guessing there may be faults with the injectors.

I recently had the wheels aligned and new tyres although they're the budget ones as the shop told me it doesn't really matter for my car.

I didn't think about the E10 fuel, to be honest. This may be a consideration as to why it's not reaching its full potential.
