Hello fit people, forgive me if I seem clueless.

I recently started doing as many burpees as I can. I want to take things slow and not fall into the "get obsesed with fitness then burn out in 2 days and go back to eating pizza" trap. I was told that if I want a simple basic exercise to do a burpee.

So I do as many of them as I can (not a lot <.< ) untill my stomach muscles kinda stop working and just dont have the strenght to lift my body, no matter my willpower. Then I need about 48 hours to recover and I repeat.

1) Is this more or less okay? Im aware that I wont become a bodybuilder overnight with 1 exercise. I just want to know if Im missing something obvious like "do less burpees but more often" or "eat a cows head then you can do more burpees before your muscles give out".

2) Since I still have energy and willingness after my burpees, what are some other basic, good-all-round exercises I can do without my stomach muscles working?
