[C19] Faithless Looting

You're not wrong, sometimes though they come so close to getting it right it actually infuriates you more than if they'd screwed it up entirely.

Look at the weather light saga, that shit could have been dune level if the ending wasnt so convoluted and had so many twists just for the sake of subverting expectations.

Then you have war of the spark which arguably could have been the best storyline to date had it not been so ham fisted and superficial in details and execution (mainly writing).

I mean I honestly think a large part of what makes davriel so compelling for people currently is hes in essence a better written more relatable liliana character. The Sanderson novel was superb until you remember it's part of the war storyline and thus is always going to be tied to that abomination.
