Before I was into the theory, I would test as a core 4

But when I talk to my friend who is very 4-like (I should get her into enneagram; she hasn’t heard of it), we are similar in some ways and quite different in others. We both have an art form that we’re passionate about as a means of self-expression (writing for me and painting for her) and we both have a similar sense of being unique/weird/“aliens”

However, she has described me as being more outgoing and optimistic than herself, whereas she seems more melancholic and introspective than myself

It’s interesting seeing the (potential) types in action!
