You have no idea what you are talking about when it comes to ammunition and hollow points. Take some time to look into that ammunition type.

Hollow point ammunition and soft nose expanding cartridges are legally required in almost all states for hunting. Hollow point ammo is also used pretty much exclusively in Law Enforcement and self defense ammunition since it is the best option to stop a threat with fewer rounds and is way less likely to over penetrate through objects and strike unintended targets down range.

I use hollow point ammo exclusively for work, self defense and hunting on a daily basis. Please look more into the subject so you can make a well informed decision. Outside that you make good points but I dont agree with your stance of not needing XYZ. Additionally, there are a lot more people who own guns and dont talk about it to government surveys or surveys in general. I can tell you right now that the number of firearms I own is not sonething I share outside of my friend group.
