‘We cannot live with 15,000 deaths a week’: WHO warns on rise in COVID fatalities

How about you keep wearing a mask and socially distancing, and let the rest of get on with our lives?

We’ve reached a point where vaccines are readily accessible and available to most people. Those of us who have take the vaccine should be entitled to resume ordinary life with minimal restriction.

While it might not seem “fair,” you can’t expect the world to continue staying closed to protect a small minority of its population—especially when that small minority can take effective, proven steps to bolster its own protection.

This is especially true when you consider that the risks of COVID-19 are negligible for most adults in reasonably good health.

You can’t expect us to forgo social, economy, and financial opportunity for some indeterminate span of time.
