i cant create anything..

I learned python on my job and was tasked with creating a deep learning model to classify some documents, which required OCR and a bunch of other things that I had no fucking clue about.

I felt that same nervousness, but when it comes down to it, you just kind of have to do it. You’ll start googling frantically, revisiting the same stack overflow pages, constantly clicking purple links, but you’ll eventually find something you can grasp, and you build from there.

That’s why most answers to “where do I start learning python?” are to think of a project and just begin. You won’t know how to start, and that’s the point. You’ll learn how to research and read documentation, test, iterate, but most importantly you’ll learn not to be afraid, and you’ll learn that you can create something from a starting point that feels like nothing.
