This is really poor communication on her part, and I'd go as far as saying it's borderline (if not fully) abusive. It's not fair to expect you home for dinner without telling you, and then be angry when you don't know to come home for dinner.

I'm honestly also seeing red flags with her not having any other friends AND being nearly 10 years older than you (I know, you're not super young, you were a full 26 year old adult when you started dating, I know I know). Just seems off.

Not only is she way too old to be handling relationships this poorly, but why doesn't she have other friends? Why is all the pressure on you to provide all her social and emotional needs?

Also seems a bit like controlling behaviour, though I could be reading too far into it. Is she trying to isolate you?
