Cell Phone Plans In Regina

UPDATE - sasktel's plans have updated in the lest couple of months. Their total plans are now "totalSHARE" and are a bit cheaper.

Meanwhile Telus butchered their cheap unlimited plans last fall and this year and aren't even competitive anymore. I just got in early enough to keep the old plan.

So if you bring your phone, Telus 15gb is $65, non-unlimited and capped at 4g speeds

Telus cheapest unlimited/family share plan is 50gb for $85 with 5G speeds for one person.

Sasktel's new totalShare is unlimited data with family share capabilities at 5G speeds: 5gb $80 on contract, $60 BYOD 15gb $90 on contract, $70 BYOD 50gb $110 on contract, $90 BYOD

Sasktel gives Canada to US calling and Canada or US texting, Telus is just Canada with charges for charges for texts and calls to US numbers.

So if you want 50gb of data, you will save 5 dollars at Telus if you don't need to text US people. And if you want 15gb and don't want the unlimited once you use the 15gb up, Telus is 5 bucks cheaper (but also slower).

Otherwise, I would hoenstly go with sasktel now if you are bringing your own device. They finally updated the plans and are competitive whereas Telus is actively making their plans more expensive and removing cheaper options. Last year Telus had unlimited plans for 5, 15, 25, and 50 gbs, now you start out at 50gb which is stupid.

ALSO Telus charges credit card payment fees if you pay your bill with CC now.
