Childe is still underrated and misunderstood by a good portion of the community

The lack of a melee plunge is an unnecessary and unfair drawback for him because not only is it inconsequential for his dps, it also takes away a universal QoL ability. Also, it doesn't even make sense lorewise. Childe is supposedly more proficient in melee combat than ranged, but he can only plunge while in ranged form and just suddenly forgets how to plunge when in melee?? How does that makes sense??

Besides, while Albedo isn't Childe's best support, people shouldn't be gatekept from having them in the same team for whatever reason just because there's the possibility of Childe accidentally stepping on the elevator and ruining the flow of combat. I've seen Albedo used with Childe and it's still a perfectly valid comp, even if not optimal.
