Look at it from their perspective. These people have sold themselves to exploit value from mankind. They gotta do what they gotta do to get through the day and sleep at night. It's probably a really high stress shitty job and position that they found themselves in. It's probably also a pretty abusive environment that rewards illicit behavior, and at the end of the day everyone is just trying to find a place to fit in. that's why it's so important not to fall into the wrong crowds. I wouldn't know obviously, but I've seen the wolf of wall street and believe that's the culture they've developed.

Give the employee a break. Their lives are hard enough right now.
