I'm pan and happy to clarify the difference.

Bisexual = You are attracted to females and males only, not people who are transitioning/transsexual. ("bi" meaning 2)

Pansexual = You are attracted to all genders, of all people, of most/all body types, regardless of their gender identity. ("Pan" meaning all)

I've looked at someone before, who didnt fall entirely into either the female ot male spectrum and thus could not tell their gender, and was still attracted to them sexually despite not having one conversation with them.

I came to define myself as "pansexual" for this reason and not "bisexual". I think beauty is defined by both the physical body and emotional capacity of a person. Demisexuals are people who are attracted just by their potential partner's emotional makeup, not how they look necessarily.

Everyone's on the spectrum, though. You can only define yourself in the label that applies the most to the truth that is you. Whether that means you're straight gay or somewhere in between, we're all people at the end of the day.
