Contest mode doesn't seem to create less hatered

Hi,

If you look into Nazi history there's actually a lot of unfortunate analogues, although obviously the long span of human violence has been recorded for much longer.

I only brought up Goebbels because he was basically the father of PR. But now I must refer to a literature figure the Nazis held dear, Spengler: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Decline_of_the_West

In the case of your first link, the misinformation is an element of capitalist competition. Those who control information can brand other as being false, fake, whatever. This is what bots on social media are for. So, in the end, capital wins. Misinformation campaigns are generally won by those with more money.

The second one, I'm not so sure. Why would anyone hate Ooblets? I know Temtem is giving Pokemon more pressure, but Ooblets is like a longshot with silly animations and probably low quality gameplay, because all they post are 5 second gifs of characters dancing.
