Those comments are a little… hmmm. They all preach about how strange it is to push your fandom onto your child which I agree to an extent, but would they have cared if the celebrities name is more English sounding? What if she wanted to name her child Michael Jackson, another celebrity who has passed away. (Naming her Michael). Nobody would have cared. The problem they have is clearly not with the fact with that she’s naming her child after someone she was a fan of, but the fact that that person has a name they think is too strange or foreign. They’re using their hatred for fangirls and kpop fans in particular as a scape goat for the real issue imo.
