Coronavirus homeschooling: 77 percent of parents agree teachers should be paid more after teaching own kids

Guys, i guess i didn't get lucky on this one. My kids teachers haven't had a teaching lesson or actually taught anything in 8 weeks since schools closed. They make a lot if assignments, about 25 per week, plus online math work plus reading a 200 page book (4th grade) but no teaching. All the teaching us left up to the parents. My kids are thriving because i actually teach them. Their grades are the highest they've ever been. I'm honestly a better teacher than them...so much so that i am seriously considering home schooling next year. I couldn't be more disappointed in teachers right now, they don't deserve any raise and should probably have a paycut like other industries.
