Crazy theory: Mark Cuban will announce the purchase of an LCS team this weekend

Yeah he also plays on this pretty awful team, not sure if you've heard of them - Dignitas? Three junglers in one season, guys like Kiwikid get resigned as 'stalwarts of the team,' when Adrian and Xpecial are free agents, they get two Koreans that speak horrible English and never improved or got consistent, Gamsu is bad and overrated as was Core. So who can Shiphtur rely on? Azingy's Zac or CloudN's Vi jungle that was terribly out of the meta? CoreJJ's Sivir ults? Now let's look at his previous teams. GGU was the shocker when he was not on the roster I think people forget Jintae was playing for them during the huge success, not Shiphtur. Afterwards, they pretty much became the Coast we all know and love, a Coast that drops games like they get paid to lose. NintendudeX became a meme, Zion tilted off the face of Coast and onto greener pastures, Daydreamin' retired and WizFujin took some time off because of horrible play and become Apollo. So yeah, all those players on Coast, were quite bad.

Not defending Shiphtur or NA from your tirade but when this has been your team history you can't really be some kind of solo carry star, you have an everchaging, unreliable team, players and atmosphere. The most successful teams (just like in traditional sports) have a history of success, long standing rosters, good free agency/talent acquisition and solid working environments. We've all seen what happens to even teams like TSM where the team isn't clicking. Bjergsen also looks "scared" on champions like Ziggs and Cho'Gath at MSI and towards the ending of the summer split, but since he's proven (on a really good team), there is no doubt. Why did he play bad? Slumping team. Well consider Shiphtur playing for a permanently slumping, terrible team famous for being first place at any given moment then slipping away into irrelevancy for the remainder of the split. We forget that some of these players like Pobelter and Shiphtur got a lot of harsh criticism while on absolute garbage teams and bad teammates. Pobelter had one year on a good team and they got to Worlds for the first time in three years and he looked pretty good on his Viktor putting Bjergsen into the trash can.

Just food for thought.
