Am I the only one who finds it incredibly strange that Moore is presented to be denying in no certain terms allegations regarding allegations regarding Corfman [14], but is presented to be using much weaker langugage regarding Gibson [17] and Thacker [18]?
Consider these quotes ("I don’t know Ms Corfman from anybody", "I've never talked to, never known her or anything", "completely manufactured." - Moore), now compare that to how hes said to be speaking about Gibson [17] ("I know her, but I don't remember going on dates with her. I knew her as a friend. If we did go on dates, then we did") or Thacker [18] ("Moore said he did not remember whether he had gone on dates with them").
Also this exchange, which I can only describe as comical: Hannity asked him to "say unequivocally that you never dated anybody in their late teens when you were 32?" and Moore went with "It would've been out of my customary behavior."
I fully understand that this isn't going to look all that charitable, but really, I honestly can't think of any reasons to explain that set of quotes, especially the Hannity exchange in constrast with the strength of his denial regarding the 14yr old, other than:
Point #2 is most likely I feel. I just don't understand why he would actually choose to issue anything other than a strong and clear denial of all allegations; what does softening his language to that extent get him? Nothing, right?
