Curt Doolittle is a goldmine

Tip for people fortunate enough not to have to deal with a certain level of business hype bullshit:

Calling one's self an 'entrepreneur' and 'founder and CEO' of 'a number of companies' but none that can be named is an indication of a lot of business failure. Founding a company doesn't mean shit if it can't secure funding, production, distribution, market position, etc. It's the participation trophy of the business world, and the more you rely on it, the worse you look to an investor.

Like here's a bit from the top status of the FB page of the dude's most recent company:

As most of you know, my intellectual work is nearing completion and we are approaching critical mass as a movement, and so I should be able to return my attention to the product development again once the first book is published.

And in context, while Oversing/Runcible will pose a challenge to the dominant software platforms, and particularly their price structure, the technology has just recently caught up, and the market pressure for us to release the Runcible version is not as great as the market pressure for my intellectual work given the past two years of political chaos - and those that are about to come to fruition.

Affections Curt

And then the dude treats his own FB like a twitter stream for bizarre reactionary nonesense.

Yeah, no investor would fuck with that unless the tech is just too good, which it isn't and won't be.
