To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Jordan Peterson. His analyses are extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of clinical psychology most articulations will go over a typical listener’s head. There’s also the professor’s anti-nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his persona- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Christian literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these observations, to realise that they’re not just stories- they say something deep about YOURSELF. As a consequence POSTMODERNISTS and NEO MARXISTS truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the meaning behind Peterson’s existential catchphrase “Clean up your room,” which itself is a cryptic reference to the prophetic tradition. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Carl Jung’s genius wit lives on through this shining beacon of rationalism.
