I got one you might chuckle at

Lead of mine says he's going price shop my quote. Here's the thing though I had the only car that he wanted (combo of options/trim/color/price) So he spent the ENTIRE day driving to our 3 locations in the region. Did like 400 fucking miles in a day.

He would walk into one of our showrooms provide them with a stock number and ask for the price.

Each time he got the same price (we are one price store, we can freely grab each other inventory etc)

Finally I'm about to leave for today and he comes in and goes "WTF is wrong with you guys? Don't you wanna compete for my business?"

I'm confused and he explains what he did.

I go "ok, so did you buy it?" he goes "No, everyone gave me the same price you gave me" I go "Ok, do you want the car?" he goes "Yea" I go "Ok so why don't you buy it?" he said "But I want alower price" I said "You have spent the last 2 weeks shopping us, and yet you still keep on coming back on the same car, at the same price. If you had found something you liked better you wouldn't be standing in front of me, and your new car would be in your driveway" he goes "But why should I buy a car from me?" I said "You can go back to any of the other stores and buy the same car, at the same price, you can just save yourself the hassle and buy from me right now"

He said "Fine, fuck it"

He was pissed off for the entire transaction.
