Dads of Reddit... What's your best "don't tell your mother about this" moment?

Not a dad, but I have a good one all the same.

My friend (Mike for the purposes of this story) had pretty chill parents who were probably hippies back in the day. We would often go round there to chill, play video games, watch movies etc after college. (This is in the UK by the way so college does not mean university here.)

Mike's parents let us smoke cigarettes in his room and whilst they knew we smoked a little weed now and again they forbade him from doing it indoors. Mike's dad was an old rocker type and had been trying to give up nicotine for quite some time using patches and whatnot.

One day we're all round there and Mike's parents aren't home from work yet so we have a cheeky herbal burn out of the window. Suddenly his dad comes bursting into the room; none of us heard the car pulling up or the front door. We all freeze. Mike's dad storms over to the window as he announces to everyone, "I've had a shit day and I need a cigarette!" Before anyone can do or say anything he snatches the joint out of Mike's hand and takes a long drag. He exhales, then slowly turns to Mike and says, "This isn't a cigarette, is it?" Mike hangs his head and mumbles no. "Don't tell your mum," says his dad and proceeds to take several more deep tokes.

He then spent the next three hours jamming along on his guitar to Hendrix and Clapton.
