I think it's because he was being disingenuous, especially when bringing up how Warriors would have beaten Rockets w/o KD. That Rockets team was designed to counter us and they were even up 3-2 in the WCF. Whereas against Cavs, it was a gentleman's sweep and then actual sweep a yr later. We were 8-1 against Cavs but 8-5 against Rockets those 2 yrs. 2016 Finals game 7 also went down to the wire so it's not like Dubs got blown out against healthy Cavs team so like you, I also disagree that we need KD to beat them. What I roll my eyes at is Dray's insistence on propping up Bron and his statements this week can be seen as undermining Steph. Saying we don't win against Cavs in 2017 & 2018 w/o KD is equivalent to saying Steph needed KD to win (aka bad narrative people been parroting since KD joined & left us)
