Day 5 only 3 follicles; only one growing...

I'm single, too. Let me tell you, age 40-42, costing $80K USD on 6 rounds of IVF in Europe and now egg donation in Europe. Honestly, I gave everything to make it work with my own eggs, but age 42-43 is the turning point where there the likelihood is really low for a quality egg. The PGS/PGD testing will tell you if it's normal, but it also can harm embryos. I've read and been told many times that the embryos of women over 40 are more fragile and the PGS/PGD can damage them irreparably. It's a risk. Given that you have only done 1 IVF cycle, do at least 2 more, if you can do it affordably. Beyond 3, I would move onto donor eggs or embryo adoption. If you have unlimited $, then, by all means, keep trying with your own eggs for 10 IVF cycles. I just couldn't afford to find that golden egg of mine any more....
