[Day After Thread] The Golden State Warriors defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers 113-91 to take a 1-0 series lead

Yeah but this is exactly why people complain. They hit Biyombo with a suspension too in ECF Game 6 (or what would have been a suspension, if they hadn't been eliminated). Lebron threw the same elbow a few plays later with no repercussion. The only reason they didn't suspend Draymond in the WCF because Warriors were down 2-1, playing in OKC. Totally unfair to the Thunder (even though they won that game anyway). The league only suspended him in the Finals because the Warriors were up 3-1.

If you don't think the progression of the series factored into their thinking you are crazy. The NBA doesn't give a shit about competitive integrity. They are selling a product, and all they care about is money. Fans have a right to be upset. The officiating is always bad, always wildly inconsistent, and anytime the league steps in to review a foul or adjudicate something post-game, they always do it in an uneven manner. It's bullshit. I've had to sit thought plenty of tainted Finals game because the NBA can't get out of it's own way (2002, 2006, etc.)
