US Department of Energy backs five advanced nuclear reactor concepts

The Vijayanagar Empire was founded by Harihara-I and Bukka-I in 1336 AD.  They were feudatories of Kakatiya's and later become Minister in the court of Kamila.  Vijayanagar period can be divided into four distinct dynasty- 

1) Sangama (1336-1485 AD) 

2) Saluva (1485-1505 AD) 

3) Tuluva (1505-1570 AD) 

4) Aravidu (1570-1650 AD)  The Sangam (1336-1485 AD) The Kingdom was founded in 1336 AD.  Vijayanagar Kingdom and city was founded by Harihara-I and Bukka-I.  Vijayanagar and Bahmani conflict began with the foundation of kingdoms.  Clash of interests in three areas - 1) Raichur doab (between Krishna and Tungabhadra river)  2) Krishna and Godavari delta  3) Marath wada.  Bukka-I strengthened the city of Vidyanagar and renamed it Vijayanagar.  The Royal Ambassadors from Malabar and cylon adorn his Court.  He Restored peace between the Warring Vaishnavas and the Jains.  Harihar-ii (1379-1404 AD) was the son of Bukka-I.  Devaraya-I (1406-22 AD)  His greatest works was the irrigation where a dam was built across the Tungabhadra River.  Italian Traveller Nicolo de conti visited during his reign.  Srinath was his Court poet, who wrote "Haravilasam".  There was a pearl Hall in his place where he honoured men of eminence. Devaraya-ii (1423-46 AD)  He was the greatest king of Sangama ruler.  The commanders believed that he was incarnation of Indra.  Deva Raya-ii wrote "Mahanataka sudhanidhi".  He took the tittle “Ganga Betekars” (the elephant hunter).  Persian ambassador Abdul Razzaq, the envoy of Shahrukh, visited his Court.The Saluva dynasty (1486-1505)  Saluva Narsimha founded the Saluva dynasty.  Tirumal and Immadi Narsimha both were minors during the regency of Narsa Nayaka.  Vasco Da Gama landed in Calicut during his region in 1498 AD.
