I don't want to fall into the deep end but high-profile pedophilia exists in [I'd guess] every society. Religious institutions do it. Politicians do it. Celebrities do it. It's featured widely in civilsation's history. I think the average person would be surprised to hear how common it actually is. You then look at Hollywood and exploitation of young children. Even the Stranger Things girl has been presented as a sex symbol (not just to Drake). This is filth is everywhere and it's our leaders who are letting it happen, some clearly contributing.
