No, it's a number of his wins not being relevant that's the problem. Having enough that he's 2nd all-time is still impressive but beating 1-5 at WW BJ Penn should not be considered a feat, regardless of his 'legend' status in a division below. Guys like Trigg, who only beat Jason Miller and lost to literally everybody else (Hughes twice, GSP, Condit, Lawler, Koscheck, Serra), he should not be considered a noteworthy scalp either imo, nor the rest with similarly lacklustre records.

Mindlessly giving credit to fighters from 'the good old days', regardless of the weight of their wins is kinda dishonest and not what I was going for at all. Feel free to tell me your top 10 though.
