parents are demons and it's not bound to change any time soon. When I was in school if I got in trouble at school then the punishment at home was way worse. It worked well as a deterrent I tried much harder to not get caught. The punishment i received would be taken way worse now a days, I'd get grounded from anything with buttons, no phone, no game systems, no television, no radio/tape deck or CD player. It gave me a love for reading that has lasted since then 25+ years. If my grades dropped or if I got a D I was grounded until the next report card came out so 9 weeks at a whack. I'm not sure if this was better or worse than today's parents, but I can promise if you remove the shit that entertains them they will think twice about getting caught again.
