Did I stunt my growth?

There's no such thing as a predetermined height, however, there is such thing as a predetermined height code. Nobody can tell you how tall you'll be when you're born. However, an estimate can be made based on your mom and dad's height and then your environmental conditions will factor that by anywhere from 0-60% --

So essentially you had the chance of being anywhere from 5'3 to potentially 6ft based purely on genetics. That was roughly called your "genetic potential" - in that range your realistic range was probably between 5'5 - 5'9.

I can't tell you if you stunted your growth or not. What I can say is that environment DOES and CAN impact growth. If you need any examples, look specifically at Tennis players. These guys play intense sport their entire lives and usually end up 6ft+ because of it. Specific players like Andy Murray and Roger Federer have extremely short parents, yet ended up far taller.

In regards to growing pains, that could be the case. In the past 8 months or so, I've grown about an inch (I'm 18 years old) -- so it's possible.
