[Discussion] If you're bored after 1,000+ hours of gameplay, you've gotten your money's worth.

Believe me, I couldn't agree more. I meant nothing hostile towards you, my apologies. But good lord this game fucks me up like no other, lol. I played across 2 separate gamertags, since I gave the wife my old Xbox and bought one for myself so we didn't have to share. Im probably close to the 700-800 hours range, pretty evenly split between the two. First GT I played on from release to about November last year, got new Xbox/GT in December of last year. I know this shit sounds ranty as hell, lol, I'll be the first to admit that. But goddamn this game fucking hates me, lol. And BTW the 5 ascendant shard VOG run was AFTER dark below came out. Shit seemed intentional, lol, I just couldn't believe it. I've done Crota and Atheon at least 20-30 times with each character, and of course I got Atheon's epilogue on one of them, and some level 32 raid gear items from Crota. That's it. I give up, lol. House Of Wolves don't mean shit to me. Why the fuck do I want to run a strike/raid against a giant model of Aksor, lol, I already killed him. A bigger version of the same damn boss, on the same damn maps, with another set of currency to render the old shit pointless, I could go on and fucking on. They really could do something great with this, but let's stop kidding ourselves already. This is an average game, nothing extraordinary about it, that had a shit-ton of hype, that didn't deliver as promised. I'm sorry but if your game REQUIRES me to have online accounts through various websites/forums just to learn about the lore and storyline in more detail, then you have failed as a game developer. Take more time, develop it properly BEFORE you ask for my money for it. Lifelong game my ass. If you enjoy it, more power to ya, seriously. I just can't do Destiny anymore, simple as that. Sorry again if I offended, or apparently hijacked your post, lol. I got the season pass when I got dark below, so I'll get HoW whether I like it or not. I just may fire it up and see, but I don't exactly have high expectations.
