It's actually a glove with no fist. It does not matter that they say this because think about all the other venues that might happen to have conservative beliefs but also think it's not their place to impose their beliefs upon others.

It's easily close to 50% of the population of any given service who are conservative - the reason we have an DNC and an RNC that persist is exactly because people are evenly divided.

Pick any service or business you want: your auto mechanic, your restaurant owners, your newspaper publisher, etc. Half are probably conservative and they may not be directly LGBT-friendly but most of they do't make waves. It's only the most orthodox and extreme people who do, and they are a minority.

If you think everyone is liberal like you, guess what? You are completely wrong. But most people are not assholes trying to evangelize or coerce behavior so they keep their beliefs private unless you ask them to share.

So the point of this is: conservatives may well already be taking your money and given it to causes you may not approve of or would not donate to yourself.

So. What.

That's been going for what, 100 years, maybe for all times? And how is that actually different from this situation?? If you think carefully about it, you'll realize that it's only different because you explicitly are told/know about it.

That's it. The money still flows exactly the same way in both the case when they are "in your face" and when they are polite - that's the only real difference. And that's been happening to you for everything you've ever purchased your entire life! At about 50% of the time.

So the only real issue is the rudeness of being told what you don't want to know or hear vs. knowing (now). That only means you can simply patronize someone else and certainly not them.

Honestly this sort of the point of the title: this technique of doing business primarily hurts the people running this wedding venue by losing business. Anyone seeing a wedding venue has far more choices. As a business person this is stupidity and a good way to suicide your business. But whatever.

This is the standard problem with being a rigid moralist (of either the right or the left like SJWs): they mostly harm themselves with their own extremism more than they convert or actually affect anything.

Hence most people are centrist instead because it always pays to get along with people even if you don't always agree with them on all points.

I hear putting things in bold really makes your point.
