Funny thing is, I’ve been told for about four months now a new compensation program was coming out and I was going to be eligible for two simultaneous promotions, so I was told to hold off on asking for a promotion to the job title above me because the two promotions would be better.

Well four months down the road the program still hasn’t been put into place, despite being assured throughout these four months it’s only weeks away from going through.

I’m definitely discussing this with my manager this week and that it’s not acceptable for me to be making less money now than I was nearly two years ago, despite having nearly infinite more responsibilities, and my team going from 5 to 2 people due to them leaving for greener pastures elsewhere.
